Richie Hogan - West Coast Kicking Academy Hall Of Fame
Central Michigan University
Laguna Hills High School
Richie, soft spoken, yet determined and hardworking as they come. Hogan's senior season of high school was a payoff for time spent training, earning ALL-County, All-CIF, All League honors, to go along with a CIF championship at Laguna Hills. He was also selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game.
One of the few specialists who could both kick and punt at the D1 level coming out of high school, Hogan is one of the best combo P/K to come through WCKA. He earned a scholarship out of high school to Central Michigan as a placekicker, taking over for WCKA Hall of Famer Andrew Aguila. However, injury forced him to switch duties to Punting, where he excelled in conference and nationally. Working closely with WCKA Punting Instructor Taylor Kunzi, he showed tremendous growth, perserverance and adaptability and became a consistent punter and highly thought of Student-Athlete at CMU. He holds the record for longest punt at the "Little Ceasars Bowl" of 82 yards.
Richie demonstrated how flexibilty and the will to overcome adversity can lead to success on a off the field. He currently works as a personal trainer and as an instructor for West Coast Kicking Academy.
