We began working with Kevin early in his HS career and soon realized he had an uncanny ambition to not only get better, but a competitive drive to be the best specialist on the training field each Sunday. Known for a dynamic kickoff leg, Goessling earned a Scholarship to Fresno State where he was the fulltime placekicker for 4 years.
After a couple early struggles his Freshman season Goessling rebounded to connect on a 58 yard Game Winning FG vs Utah State. He took that momentum forward into his Sophomore year where he earned All American honors and continued to thrive for the Bulldogs throughout his 4 year career. Off the field, Kevin was an hard working motivated student as well, being tabbed Academic All Conference multiple times.
After completing his career as the leading scorer in conference history, Goessling was picked up by the Oakland Raiders where he competed with Sebastian Janikowski. Kevin started for the Raiders in a preseason game and performed well. Once released he played for 2 different Arena football teams.
Goessling will be remembered as a fiercely competitive young man who was able to overcome early setbacks and make the most of his time in college and at the professional level.
