Alex began training with West Coast Kicking Academy early in his High School career. His best attribute is his ability to work tirelessly through difficult times in pursuit of his goals. Alex made the difficult transition form being a combo kicker/punter with the help of lead punt instructor Taylor Kunzi. Not one to ever give up Alex had a stellar D 1 collegiate career at the University of Nevada after spending 1 season at Long Beach CC developing his technique. On his way to Nevada, he claimed the Head To Head VIII Punt Title. He was selected to play in the NFLPA All-Star game at the conclusion of college and had a tremendous performance with 46+ yard average. Recently, Alex has had NFL tryouts with the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers. He is also now working as a full time punting intstructor for WCKA alongside instructors Kunzi and Richie Hogan.

Boy Advice

Don't ever give up on your dream. Being a specialist can challenge you and cause you to doubt your ability. It is not the easiest position in the world, but you always have to believe in yourself! Reach out to your peers and coaches if you struggle. I would have not been fortunate to be put in this situation if I had given up and not believed in myself. Everytime it gets hard believe in yourself, because you can do anything you put your mind to. Your physical attributes will get your far in life, but your mental toughness will get you even farther in life.

Breaking the score board on my high school field after a made field goal during my sophomore year in high school. Also playing against BYU and pinning them inside their own 10, three times and swaying the field position battle in our favor and helping get the W.
